Amanda and Mike were a fairly late addition to my wedding lineup this year, and boy am I happy to have gotten that phone call! When Amanda reached out and told me she had heard about me through another bride (thank you Jess!!!) I was beyond thrilled.
I felt bad that she had to basically re-plan her wedding because of COVID, but super grateful that her new plans had brought her to me. Amanda and Mike were so sweet. Amanda was so easy-going. She just wanted to marry Mike, no matter what. True love prevails, right?
When it came to her wedding day, Amanda didn’t seem stressed at all - despite COVID restrictions and even a hiccup in weather. I think that’s why things ended up working out. The sun came out and her wedding day worked out perfectly.
It was my first time photographing at Granite Links - and the venue was stunning. They did an incredible job taking care of the couple, making sure everyone was safe with the COVID restrictions in place, but still ensuring things were beautiful. They provided a golf cart to take the couple and I down to the ruins for intimate photos, and it was SO worth it. Amanda and Mike were up for every pose I threw at them, and even asked for a few themselves. (I absolutely love when couples do this - it helps their personalities shine in their photos!)
Amanda was beaming with a smile the entire day. Every word that Mike said brushed that smile across her face, and it was apparent that Mike is quite the jokester.
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they shared their first dance and meals. All in all, it was a pretty perfect day.
Amanda and Mike, I can’t thank you enough for having me (and Kristin) be a part of your day. It was such a pleasure getting to know you. I’m so glad that your day was so special and you still chose to get married. I wish you all the best!
