Surprise Proposal at Marginal Way in Ogunquit ME, October 2025

A little rain can't ruin our day! If you've got a plan, I will make it happen. Johan reached out to me about his plans to do a surprise propose in Ogunquit at the Marginal Way and I was so excited to help him out. Ogunquit is such a beautiful place to pop the question - especially at Marginal Way.

I helped Johan with the planning, as he told me his travel plans to be in Maine. Johan and Justina had a plan to road trip the coast of Maine. They were heading through Portsmouth NH and into Ogunquit before heading north to Portland. So, we had one day to make it happen. Rain or shine, we were doing it!

I waited in the wind and rain for them to head to the spot that Johan and I agreed upon. He got down on one knee with the waves crashing behind them and I was able to capture Justina's surprised look as he asked her to marry him!

We caught some awesome portraits on the way back before getting into our cars to dry off. And boy were we WET! But it was soooo worth it.

Johan and Justina - congratulations! I wish you guys nothing but love and happiness :) Thanks so much for trusting me with this special moment and being troopers in the pouring rain!
