Backyard weddings hold such a special place in my heart. Everything is so well thought out, so intentional. They hold so much more meaning than "just a wedding day." Erin and Pete said "I do" among their closest friends and family in Pete's parents' backyard on the water in Gloucester.
To say the weather was perfect is an understatement. The sun cam out in late morning, just in time for Erin to get ready with her mom and sister. The temps were warm, warmer than I even anticipated to be honest!
From the private vows on the dock, to the exchanging of rings, Pete and Erin were always laughing and giggling. This day fit them so well, laid back and fun. After the ceremony, Pete and Erin ate tacos (talk about an epic wedding meal), drank special cocktails and just had a backyard hang with their friends and family. They even went out in the city later on at night too.
To Pete and Erin, THANK YOU! Thank you for being so kind and welcoming. Thank you for choosing me to capture your special day. Thank you for inviting me into your family's home. I am so beyond grateful.
