Wedding at the Commons with the Shin's, August 2021

Haley and John found their way to my inbox in early 2021, and I am SO happy they did. We set up a zoom and chatted about everything - weddings, job, pets.. you name it. I could tell these two were down to Earth and just in love. The types of couples I set out to find.

Fast forward a few months of emailing and I finally got to meet Haley and John in person. We sat down for a cup of coffee to chat details about the wedding. Everything flowed so nicely with their wedding - they didn't seem stressed at all. They were planning something so authentically them, and that was what was important.

Haley and John's wedding day was something truly special. With the forecasts pointing to be a full out hurricane - we truly lucked out with the weather. Overcast skies and barely any wind! We spent the early afternoon with Haley and the girls, capturing their smiles and Haley's gorgeous princess dress. Soon we met John for some finishing touches before the ceremony began.

These two had their guests in tears with their heartfelt vows. The way they look at each other is something else. There is so much love in their eyes, its like they had been waiting a lifetime to say I do. From the first kiss, to portraits, to their first dance, Haley and John could not take their eyes off of each other. They were simply oozing with love.

Speaking of portraits, these two NAILED it. Their chemistry is perfect, they literally just look at each other and melt into a puddle of love and it somehow turns into this perfect pose. UGH I'm just smiling thinking about it.

The reception was filled with incredible food, although how could we be surprised? I mean these two MET IN CULINARY SCHOOL?! more tears from formal dances, and of course LOTS of dancing. The dance floor was on fire all night, what a fun bunch!

Haley and John, I am so happy you asked me to capture your beautiful wedding day. To witness your love is to witness something so special. I am so happy to have been a part of it, and to have documented a small time in your love story. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you two!
