Winter Wedding at Colonial Hall in Salem MA with the Scenna's, December 2020

Teresa and I have actually known each other for quite some time, we have a few mutual friends and I have come to know her family, so when I saw she had posted on Facebook looking for a wedding photographer, I couldn’t help myself. I reached out immediately!

I was so happy when our expectations aligned and she booked Captured! A small, intimate wedding at Colonial Hall, Rockafellas in Salem, MA with their close family and friends - Teresa and Mike simply wanted to celebrate their love. Something I absolutely stand by.

The weather on their wedding day was just.. YUCK. I’m not even sure how to describe it, I mixture of snow and rain - not exactly ideal, but it didn’t seem to bother Teresa one bit. I told her that it must be EXTRA good luck.

One of my favorite moments during the entire day was the first look with her father. I could sense his jitters, he couldn’t wait to see his baby girl. She’s the only daughter surrounded by brothers. He teared up, a big smile across his face.

A trolley brought the bridal party and Teresa’s parents and grandmother to the venue. We took some more photos at the venue in the bridal suite, as well as some photos of Mike getting ready. The suites upstairs have so much character, I couldn’t let that pass by. We took advantage of every inch of the venue.

The beautiful staircase was perfect for the wedding party photos and family photos. And the entire room, with its dark wood and old charm was simply gorgeous for all of the ceremony and dance floor photos. The scattered rose petals were a perfect touch.

Everyone at the wedding was there to celebrate Teresa and Mike - it seemed like one of those “finally” moments. Like they knew Teresa and Mike belonged together. Like they complete each other and they were so happy they were making it official.

Teresa and Mike, thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me photograph your wedding day. It was so authentically you, I can’t even express how beautiful it was. I'm so happy you chose to get married in a time of such uncertainty, it shows your true commitment to each other. You of course know I wish you both such love and happiness. I can't wait until I see you guys again!
