KELLY & CONNOR - WEDDING, OCTOBER 2018

Updated: Feb 7, 2021

Kelly and Connor's fall New Hampshire wedding was picture perfect. I guess that's why we were there, huh? The foliage was gorgeous, the venue was spectacular, and the couple was absolutely adorable. Their love story began in college, and survived long distance to finally be married and together again. Their love for each other was very apparent.

We met Kelly and her bridesmaids at the hotel down the street for photos. They were all so laid back and cooperative. They loved the camera and looked so natural in their posing. The groomsmen took a bit more work, but soon they got a bit more comfortable too. Larger wedding parties can sometimes be difficult to work with, but this was definitely not the case with these friends. They were so fun, even when waiting around during photos.

Kelly asked us to organize a first look with her father. Although I had never done this before, I thought it was the most special request. The moment, shared with the bride, her father and her mother, was emotional and sweet. We are so happy that she asked us to captured this.

At the venue we held a first look with the bride and groom on this magical bridge over a small pond. The scenery was beautiful, and the first look was everything we hoped it would be. There were tears and smiles, hugs and kisses. And we were thrilled with the outcome.

We then moved onto family photos. Both families were smaller, and very easy to photograph. We got the grandparents first, as they were older and would not last as long outside. Next we did parents and siblings and finally we got to have some fun with the wedding party. We hope they had as much fun photographing as we did.

The ceremony was held outside, short and sweet. The vows had everyone laughing and crying. The families and friends that Kelly and Connor were surrounded by seemed to be a part of their long love story. We stole the couple away after the ceremony for some photos. This was my favorite part of the day. Everything, the scenery, the sun, the chemistry was all seamless. We got some photos we are crazy about.

The reception was a BLAST! Everyone was dancing all night. And I mean EVERYONE! Grandparents, friends, and family shared the dance floor for hours. We simply did not want to leave! Such a fun group makes our job that much more enjoyable. Everyone was great sports about having their photos taken and even encouraged us to captured their dance moves!

Kelly and Connor's New Hampshire wedding is one I will never forget. As we closed out our busy wedding season, we cannot help but be grateful for the special brides and grooms that we were fortunate enough to work with. Kelly and Connor will be added to our list of favorites.

Until next wedding!

Live creatively, friends.
