How lucky am I? Two back-to-back posts for soon to be family?! Danielle and James are also my boyfriends family who reached out and asked me to take their photos. There's so much love in this family, it makes me so happy!🥰 James and Ryan are cousins and have been close since they were little. Danielle and James started dating a while back and I remember when I first met her. She was so sweet and I could tell she made James happy - so of course thats all that matters!
Although Danielle and James aren't getting married until 2022, I am SO happy they asked me to do their engagement photos this year. I hadn't seen them in a while because of covid, ugh, so we planned to do things in September when the sunflowers bloomed. Immediately I couldn't wait for the fall. Every year I make it a point to get over to Colby Farm in Newbury to see the sunflower field. It honestly gets larger (and even busier) every year too.
The tough part is, these sunflowers are really only at peak for a week or two, so planning around schedules, the peak bloom, and weather can be tricky! Nonetheless, we managed to pull it off - we had the PERFECT afternoon in the field. These two were so much fun to photograph. They were troopers through the heat, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
I love when you can see personalities shine through a camera, and I think that is exactly what happened here. Danielle and James, I am so thankful you asked me to take these photos. I can't wait to see what 2022 brings!
