Okay I know I say this a lot but this was a special one guys. Kendra and I go way back to like 2011. We played rugby together at BSU and became friends. Years later, Kendra was living in NY and I in NH and she reached out about me photographing their wedding celebration. I could not let the opportunity to not only see Kendra again, but witness and document a part of their love story pass by.
The entire day Kendra was so laid back and had a GIANT smile on her face. James' face actually LIT UP when Kendra was around. Although the two had already technically married last summer, this day was so anticipated by each of them that they were just as happy to do it all over again. To be able to laugh and dance and cry with their closest friends and family was so special.
They even had a special guest, their pup Benny, join them for their walk down the aisle. Benny was so well behaved, and just as happy as his parents to be there.
Everyone seemed to have a blast, especially with Kendra's 3 year long surprise for James. His favorite Band Terror Pigeon came to preform a few songs, and it was quite entertaining. So much energy and everyone jumped in and participated, laughing, dancing and having a good time. James' face when he realized what was happening was SO worth the wait!
One of my favorite parts of the day was the decor and overall color scheme Kendra chose. She really had fun and leaned into her personality and artistic side with so much color, splashes of creativity and more. I love that you could see Kendra's true passion in that room.
To Kendra and James, THANK YOU! I absolutely loved hanging out with you two and your friends and family, capturing your love (and your love for Benny) and more. I am so happy I got to be there.
