Surprise Proposal in the South End of Boston, December 2023

I've been wanting to write this post for a while now! I'm so glad that Nick and Ashley's family asked me to capture this very special moment. After spending just an hour with them I felt like I had known them forever. It is so obvious that these two are surrounded by so much love and support.

I drove out to the South End and met up with their families to stake out the spot. I sat on a park bench in a park that was sentimental to Ashley's family (it made the spot that much more special) and acted nonchalant 😂

I saw Ashley and Nick walking in and pretended I had no clue what was going on. As soon as Nick grabbed her hands and starting talking I grabbed my camera to capture on the special moments. Ashley cried and kept asking "is this real?" and I couldn't help but smile.

Nick pulled off the perfect proposal, complete with their families running out from around the corner to celebrate with them. I am so grateful I got to capture it all!

To Nick and Ashley, CONGRATS! I'm so happy for you guys and I hope you love these photos. It was so awesome getting to know you both.
