Surprise Proposal in Downtown Boston with Ryan and Kaitlin, February 2023

Ryan and Kaitlin are engaged!! Ryan reached out to me weeks before his big plan to see if I'd photograph him proposing to his girlfriend. We chatted about the right time and location and then the countdown began! However, the day before the proposal we had to pivot our plans a bit. An arctic blast was rolling in with temps below zero, so we knew we wouldn't be able to spend as much time outside as we had hoped.

Ryan wanted to propose to Kaitlin at the Commonwealth Mall in Boston, so we planned for him to pop the question there, then head to a coffee shop to warm up and celebrate! These two handled the cold like champs and we all headed to Cafe Nero afterwards for some coffee/hot chocolate and portraits.

Ryan pulled it all off successfully and now they have a wedding to plan!

To Ryan and Kaitlin, I am so glad I got to document this moment for you two! Congrats and enjoy newly engaged bliss 🥰
