Grad sessions are so much fun - a break from the normal engagements and family sessions. Filled with celebrations, milestones, and even champagne! This grad session was especially fun because Dakota is my cousin! I watched her really find her place after undergrad, and thrive. She really enjoyed grad school because she found her passion. Graduating with high grades and accomplishments is something to be so proud of, and definitely something to celebrate!
So of course I couldn't wait to document it! We had a perfect night at Lynch park, had the park (almost) to ourselves. Lynch park is so great for sessions like this because it is a good mix of greenery, florals and even the beach if you'd like! I love locations that give you a little bit of everything.
Dakota is so much fun to photograph because she takes my crazy ideas and has fun with it. I love that you can see her genuine laughter and smiles in the photos.
Congratulations Dakota! You should be so proud of yourself! I'm so glad you found your passion and what you'd like to spend your life doing. You have such a kind heart and were made to spend your days helping teach children with special needs. It takes a very special kind of person to dedicate their life to that.
