This was my first year doing spring minis. I had considered doing them in the past so this year thought, why the heck not? I had a free Sunday afternoon (which is hard to come by) and the perfect backdrop in mind. Maudslay State Park in Newburyport (I talk about it ALL the time) is absolutely gorgeous in the spring. The giant rhododendron bushes bloom in May, and with lots of other colorful flowers the park really transforms, it's pretty magical.
I was so glad to have photographed the Dwyer Family at Maudslay. These 4 were SO cute. I've been lucky enough to know Danielle and Jarred for years and to watch their family grow. Now to document that was even better. Little Beau was all smiles the entire time, just happy to be in his parents' arms. And JJ was so sweet, don't be fooled my his serious face.. he was having a ball! Just a little shy in front of the camera but would smile as soon as we put it away.. typical 😂 I absolutely love the way these photos turned out.
April reached out to me when I announced my mini sessions to book a mother-daughter session as a Mother's Day gift for her mom, Meghan. I was SO excited to see and photograph them and be able to create some images they can cherish forever. We had so much fun frolicking around the park and I got some awesome laughs from the two of them. Nothing makes me happier than when my family supports my business ♥️
