This post is coming a bit late due to our hard drive malfunction, but we are happy to report that we have ALL of our files back! And we cannot wait to share this story with you. Annette and Andy's wedding was absolutely magical. From the venue to the engraved whiskey bottles, everything was so well thought out.
We began our day with a first look. It was clear that these two were quite shy, but when around each other they truly shined. With their family looking on from afar, Andy stepped out to see his bride for the first time, and quickly the moment became very intimate. It was not hard to see the love between these two.
The venue, Farmington Country Club, was stunning. We drove the grounds on golf carts (yes, so much fun!) and found a gazebo on a tiny pond to take photos. The lighting, the flowers, everything was absolutely perfect. It was super warm for a mid-September day, but the sunlight was JUST RIGHT, so we couldn't complain.
The wedding party consisted of the bride and grooms children, the brides sister and brother-in-law. The family was so tight-knit, we could tell by spending just a few hours with them. They were all so cooperative, and added their own touches of personality to each photo we took, from sunglasses to hair flips.
The ceremony, though small, was filled with those who seemed to know all of Annette and Andy's love story. They cheered, they laughed, they cried and then they danced. The girls even surprised their father with a father daughter duo dance. It was heartfelt, and you could tell how much it meant to all of them.
Now, We've seen quite a few toasts by this point in our wedding photography career, and I have to admit, the maid of honor's toast had to be one of my favorites thus far. She poked fun at her sister, the bride, and left it with some touching words. Her husband had quite the long list of jokes for the couple. He had the entire room laughing.
As the night progressed, more and more guests joined the dance floor. By the looks of the rowdy crowd, they were gearing up for a fun night. We had even joked that we wished we could have stayed to see the rest of the evening!

All in all, this wedding had everything. A loving bride and groom, inviting guests and plenty of laughter. Annette and Andy don't need any hopes, without a doubt they will have a healthy and happy marriage. Cheers to the newlyweds! Thank you for choosing us to be there to capture every moment.
Until next wedding!
Live creatively, friends.
